Our Brand
My goal is to document the west, now & then. To
tell folks about this life who never experienced it. Some
will be able to look back & reminisce!
I grew up in the ranching lifestyle in south western
Wyoming and lived in many other rural parts of the
western states including north central Nevada,
so I have seen it from differing points of veiw &
working styles.
Material comes from interviews from folks who
lived it, my own & family members still living it, &
from archival information as I have acquired it. I
welcome family members to contact me with any
information they wish to share about any of the people
or places I mention or even if I don't for possible
posting here.

Our Work Ethic Statement
Coming from the ranch & farming lifestyle, my work
looks at that life from that point of view & my under-
standing of what I lived. I did not participate in rodeo
life, as such, but certainly rubbed shoulders with some
who have & are. That is to say that, I realize that every-
one's take on this lifestyle will be colored or flavored
from their own experience.
I learned photo restoration before the digital age,
from a teacher who has made her living doing it . I use
the "Fine Arts" method to paint rather than the more
widely seen "Marshall" method. I have transferred this
knowledge to my digital work also!
If you like what you see & would like me to do some
for you I would be happy to discuss it with you!
My oils & photo paper are all archival quality &
acid free! All work is 100% guaranteed! I will be happy
to answer any questions prior to purchase or following!
All but the Oils are available in varying sizes & papers
if available. I use my own printing for small work &
custom for larger images.

"Sherman Station"
The Sherman Station was built for travelers early in
Nevada's history. Valentine Walther & his friend, Nick
Scott finished work on the Huntinton Valley structure in
1903. The 4,800 sq. ft. log house was originally near
Jiggs, NV. & was a stage stop where the top floor was put
to use for sleeping for weary folks.
My photos were taken the Sunday just prior to jacks
being placed under it to be moved 70+ miles in August
1997 to Elko, NV from the ranch.
In this photo the smaller building in the foreground
is the ranch schoolhouse. These both now have a new
home along with the creamery blacksmith's shop are
part of the Elko, NV Chamber of Commerce offices.

This picture is printed on Kodak premium fiber based
archival paper & mounted on untempered masonite ! It
is 24"w x 20" h and comes with optional custom barn-
wood frame & name plate!
This option of mounting will be considered at addi-
tional cost for all but oils!
